Overview

Topics to be covered are

·        MTM Business Model Innovation and Transformation

·        Service-Dominant Logic in MTM Business Models

·       MTM Value Concepts and Configurations

·       MTM Case Studies

 

Group formation will be organized on Oct. 19, '18 by the professor. Students preferences will be taken into account. Registration details are shown below. Students MUST NOT also take 'MTM Seminar I with Prof. Kunz' during the WS '18/'19.

 

Dates and Location (max. 5 dates)

Oct. 19 (mandatory kick-off), Nov. 09, Nov. 16, Dec. 14 -- all '18 AND Jan. 18 and Jan 25 - both in '19, all sessions in HS XXIII.

 

Pre-Assignment - due Oct. 15, '18, 11:00 am

Summarize in 750 to 1,000 words: Barrett, M., Davidson, E., Prabhu, J., and Vargo, S.L. (2015). Service Innovation in the Digital Age: Key Contributions and Future Directions. MIS Quarterly, 39:1, pp. 135-154.

Grading

·     Pre-Assignment (10%, individual) - handed out latest on Oct 01, '18 and due Oct. 15, '18, 11:00 am via eMail (see above)

·        Intermediate concept (ppt and presentation) (20%, group)

·        Active participation on all dates (20%, individual)

·        Final presentation (30%, group)

·        Final paper - based on the final presentation (20%, group)

All grading elements have to be passed in order to pass the course.
