I am a PhD candidate in Media and Technology Management at the University of Cologne. Since April 2021, I have been supporting the Department of Media and Technology Management as a research assistant. My current research focuses on the impacts of automated and sensor-based journalism on businesses, media, and the society. At the University of Cologne, I completed my Bachelor and Master degrees in Business Administration with majors in Media and Technology Management, Marketing, and Economic Psychology. Alongside my studies, I gained work experience in market research, at the public broadcaster WDR, and as research assistant in the Department of Media and Communication Psychology at the University of Cologne. Since November 2022, I am a scholarship recipient of the 'Add-On Fellowship for Interdisciplinary Economics and Interdisciplinary Business Administration' by the Joachim Herz Stiftung. In 2019, I was selected for the 'WiWi Talents Program' that supports the best students of economics in German-speaking regions. During my Master's studies, I completed two summer schools in Romania and Russia, of which the latter was funded by the DAAD scholarship program 'Go-East'. I grew up speaking three languages (Russian, Ukrainian, and German) and I use English fluently in an academic context on a daily basis.
